Melody Mavericks is IndieMaya Studios’ flagship talent IP focused on discovering and showcasing independent music bands from Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. Designed as a regional talent hunt, the show places bands at the centre, highlighting original sound, musical discipline, and group dynamics. Each episode reflects the cultural and musical identity of the state it represents, supported by professional mentorship, structured challenges, studio sessions, and live performance formats.
The show was created to address the lack of platforms for South India’s independent bands to gain serious exposure beyond their local circuits. Melody Mavericks offers selected bands a clear development path, backed by high-quality production and industry guidance. The winning band receives album production and a nationwide showcase through IndieMaya Studios, positioning the show as both a talent discovery platform and a long-term music IP.
